Been a while since my last update.

The Untamed has been completed again. I am delighted to say this means I can start viewing it again from the beginning and I shall start this and Guardian at some point next week.

Oh! My Emperor is now up to episode 20. I swear I can feel my brain cells dying when I watch it but Xiao Zhan remains pretty. I hate 97% of the characters so I don't know how much longer even his presence in this show can make me continue. Only other plus is each episode is less than 30 minutes.

Almost Human is only up to #3. Good few years since I watched this but I do like grumpy Karl Urban.

Also watched the Jade Dynasty movie which was fairly fun, if a bit confusing, but it had Xiao Zhan, a dragon, a monkey and a dog. It was a pleasant enough way to pass the time.

Also watched episode #1 of Joy of Life. I liked some of the characters so I will stick with it for a bit longer.

No change to any other shows I have been watching.

I've watched it eight times so far, and I'm still delighted to start watching again! *g*

I'm still on episode 19 of Oh! My Emperor. I feel the same about my brain cells dying and hating 97% of the characters, and I need frequent and long breaks to make it through.

Jade Dynasty was fun, but only half of the story? Or maybe a third? It feels like an origin movie. Xiao Zhan and the animals is my favourite part. *g* He's so good with the dog in all those BTS clips, it makes my heart melt. *g* Also, there were several more familiar faces from Joy of Life in that movie, which was kinda funny, too.

Yes, please stick with Joy of Life! The first episode is so weird, but it picks up fast.

Joy of Life is definitely one I will give a few more episodes before I make up my mind. Good to know you think it is worth persevering with.

I've seen a couple of BTS stuff for Jade Dynasty on YouTube and on Twitter. My favourites are the ones with Da Huang, the dog. They are so cute together! Playing, hugging, giving kisses. And when it was really cold, Xiao Zhan tucked him under the big warm coat he was wearing.

Honestly? It's the best non-BL c-drama I've watched so far! And it lands on a solid spot no. 2 when I throw BL and non-BL stuff all together (The Untamed is still my number one!).
