Shopping in London
Nov. 23rd, 2018 10:03 pmHave been shopping today with my brother. We have had our traditional excursion to Twinings to try all the teas.
Next was Somerset House where we avoided the pitfalls of the skating rink and went to the Fortnum & Mason Christmas Arcade (Bloody Mary tea, yum!) and general window shopping of the shiny.
Whisky and pizza to revive ourselves and then a visit to the Christmas shop at Liberty of London to buy the obligatory Christmas decoration for the tree.
Bit of silliness before holiday season starts in full.

Shopping & Movies
Jun. 13th, 2017 09:58 pmNew ankle boots purchased for work. Quite proud of that as I loathe shoe shopping.
Also had a double header at the cinema. First up was The Mummy. I have to agree with the reviews that say it is a bit of a mess story-wise. Having said that, I actually quite enjoyed it. Probably not enough to rush off and watch it again, though. So far Guardians vol 2 & Kong are the only ones I have had repeat viewings of in the cinema.
My second movie was an Exhibition on Screen about Michelangelo. It was fabulous seeing glimpses of his work on the big screen.
