I finally watched the first episode of Border Town Prodigal last night.

Conclusion as follows:
It looks very pretty.
It makes my head hurt.
Zhu Yilong looks very good in black and red.

Border Town Prodigal makes me wish I was rich enough to produce a TV show out of my iddy BDSM whump fic, and getting to choose the very pretty-when-he-hurts Zhu Yilong to star in it. He really looks amazing in this.

I admit to being fairly intrigued and agree 100% regarding how pretty Zhu Yilong looks in it (beat up or not).

I could also see lots of future whumpage to come thanks to the typical 'let's show lots of things to come' credits that China seems to favour.

I am also waiting impatiently on subs for episode 9 of Detective L so that I can watch the next case.

Moreover, it has been at least 48 hours since I watched a Guardian episode and that should really be rectified too. 😁
