Shopping in London

Have been shopping today with my brother. We have had our traditional excursion to Twinings to try all the teas.

Next was Somerset House where we avoided the pitfalls of the skating rink and went to the Fortnum & Mason Christmas Arcade (Bloody Mary tea, yum!) and general window shopping of the shiny.

Whisky and pizza to revive ourselves and then a visit to the Christmas shop at Liberty of London to buy the obligatory Christmas decoration for the tree.

Bit of silliness before holiday season starts in full.

Thanks; numb — I've been in this business since 1975 *coughancientcough* — but ultimately very happy to leave what had become almost untenable for me emotionally. I anticipate taking a few months off to detox, then I'll start looking for regular freelance work, since Social Security and a minute pension from an earlier company won't pay all the bills. Still ... yes, ultimately happy!
