Guardian re-watch (ep. 13 & 14)

What can I say about #13 other than thank goodness the cat is finally out of the bag. Poor Zhao Yunlan couldn't have taken much more frustration with Shen Wei and his evasions.

I still love ZYL's wink to Shen Wei during the gun scene. I should probably go hunt down some gifs and state at them for a while.

As for #14, I love all the interaction between ZYL & SW. Whomever picked ZYL's wardrobe for this episode deserves a medal. The rest of the SID crew were interesting with more little snippets catching my eye about them during this second viewing.

I can't remember his outfit offhand. Is 14 the one where they have the conversation about how SW can repay ZYL for hiding the truth from him but he hasn't yet joined the SID or is this when he joins? (Sorry, I obviously have a hard time remembering which specific ep something happened in!)

Yes? In that ZYL and SW have a discussion over tea and by the end of that discussion, ZYL has got a promise from SW to make up for making his heart hurt with his ongoing deception, the promise turning out to be to join SID as an advisor.

The next day when they meet up to go to the Ministry, ZYL is wearing his short brown leather trench coat and then singing in his jeep. He looks good and is an endearing dork at the same time. It makes me smile.

Okay, I've got it now. I love the jeep scene too, and Shen Wei looking on in fond bemusement. :)
