I have never seen Game of Thrones, I have never particularly wanted to... though I must admit the pictures of the Dire Wolves always looked good.

Having said that, I have now bought the Dalwhinnie and Oban whiskies that are part of the Game of Thrones range of single malts.

Wacky whisky purchase for the easing of lockdown. 😁

Culture, whisky and shenanigans

I diverted myself from fannish magpie behaviour yesterday and went out with friends. Visited one of Edinburgh's many museums, a quick stop off at a gallery and then an afternoon of whisky and rum. For the record, yum yum.

A nice dinner and then home to chill out.

Hope you are all having a great weekend and for those of you that adore Halloween, I hope you had a fun weekend in preparation for the main event during the week.

Whisky and blue sky!

Visited Glengoyne distillery yesterday for a tour and then for a tasting of selected whiskies paired with chocolate. Yum!

It was a gloriously crisp, clear day with clear blue sky above us. It made for a lovely day out.

Fandom fun

Had a quick but fun weekend in London. Hung out with baby brother & friends and visited the London location for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. Tasted some yummy malts and then went for pizza.

Saturday was spent at London Film and Comic Con. Had fun wondering around the dealers stalls, saw some cool cosplay (even if I had no clue who some of the characters were) and got to meet Benedict Cumberbatch. He was lovely and gracious and I enjoyed his guest talk.
